The New River a national Heritage River and the second oldest river in the world offer canoeing, kayaking, tubing, swimming, and fishing. Grayson County also has two spectacular state parks: Grayson Highlands State Park, and the New River Trail State Park where outdoor adventures abound, including hiking, mountain biking, camping, and horseback riding.
