Osmedy Perez
I was born in Cuba. My parents were the role models from whom I learned about integrity, morals and family values. In 1970 1 started my education at the University f Havana, obtaining a Doctorate in Education. I became a professor at the same University, where I taught until July 1982.

In July 1982, due to the political situation in Cuba, I left my country and moved to Montreal, Canada. For three years I worked there as a salesman for a company based in South America.

I moved to Miami in 1984 and started my own company, P & M Custom Work, specializing in home remodeling.

In 1998 I moved to North Carolina, working in sales and construction. In 2002 I obtained my Real State License and began working at Deerwood Realty until July 2008.

My purpose as a Real Estate Broker is to successfully guide each and every client through their buying or selling process. My father's side of the family was from Cripple Creek and Fries, VA and Alleghany County in NC. My mother's family was from Greensboro, NC and Texas. My father was an Air Force pilot, so we lived from Florida to Japan.

Years ago, we chose to relocate from Texas back to this area and build our own home. We love the warm, welcoming people and are thrilled to be able to wake up and see the mountains every day. I enjoy helping people find the home or property that meets their dreams or needs, just as we found ours here. It is a real gift to be part of this process.

Being out enjoying the land and learning about its' rich history is how I love to spend my personal time, so the fact I can also do this for a living is a bonus.
